SWANCOR 901
SWANCOR 901 is a Bisphenol A type epoxy vinyl ester resin. It provides excellent corrosion resistance to a broad range of organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, oxidising chemicals and salt solutions etc. It also provides very good mechanical strength such as tensile and flexural while incorporated with reinforcement such as glass fibre, carbon fibre or kevlar fibre. SWANCOR 901 is designed to provide superior toughness with excellent fatigue resistance, due to high heat distortion temperature.

SWANCOR 905
SWANCOR 905 is a brominated Bisphenol A type epoxy vinyl ester resin. It provides excellent corrosion resistance to a broad range of organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, oxidizing chemicals and salt solutions. It also provides very good mechanical strength such as tensile and flexural while incorporated with reinforcement such as glass fibre, carbon fibre or kevlar fibre. SWANCOR 905-2 offers excellent flame retardancy for FRP applications. ASTM E84 Class 1 can be achieved while incorporated with 3 5% antimony trioxide. It is designed to provide superior toughness with excellent fatigue resistance due to high heat distortion temperature.

SWANCOR 907
SWANCOR 907 is a Novolac type epoxy vinyl ester resin. It combines superior retention of mechanical properties at high temperature, such as tensile and flexural strength, and superior corrosion to chemical mixture, oxidising chemicals and solvents. SWANCOR 907 is designed to provide superior toughness with excellent fatigue resistance, due to high heat distortion temperature.

SWANCOR 984
SWANCOR 984 is a elastomer-modified vinyl ester resin – designed for use as primer for lining metal substrate. The inherent resilient properties provide increased flexibility, excellent adhesion and severe mechanical stress. It is the only vinyl ester resin available which offers combination of adhesion, flexibility, chemical resistance and abrasion resistance. Meanwhile with thixtropic property, it has ease of handling and fabrication advantages.

AT200 INFUSION RESIN
An infusion grade vinyl ester with low viscosity and improved fibre wet out for the manufacture of high grade infused products. AT200 has high impact resistance, excellent electrical and thermal insulation properties, and outstanding resistance to corrosion in many different chemical environments – including both acids and alkalis at room and elevated temperatures. AT200 is a premium product designed for high and long lasting performance in a multitude of weather and water conditions.

VE INFUSION RESIN
A low viscosity epoxy vinyl ester resin. Specifically designed with lower viscosities and long open times – ideal properties for infusion applications. VE Infusion Resin has excellent chemical resistance to acid and alkali environments.

AT VINYL ESTER GEL AND FLOW COAT
A pigmented and thixotropic resin based on Swancor 901 Epoxy Vinyl Ester. It retains the outstanding properties of Swancor 901, but with added flow control to allow application at ‘gelcoat’ type film-builds. The gelcoat is pigmented white or black. A further variation of the gelcoat is the addition of a paraffin wax solution to create a flow coat for exterior surface laminating.

VE TIMBER SEALER
Formulated for sealing timber, and provides a sound base for further laminating with polyester or vinyl ester resin. Its low viscosity facilitates application by brush, roller or spray to produce a smooth surface without particular effort. However, it should not be taken to be a replacement for a permanent waterproof barrier in external or damp interior areas of boats, such as bilges.

HIGH TEMP TOOLING GELCOAT
A high-performance tooling gelcoat based on a vinyl ester resin, which also provides excellent heat resistanceand excellent resistance to chemicals and solvents. It has a high gloss finish, which when properly cured, gives multiple releases between waxing and polishing – the minimum temperature during the cure cycle is 18°C. The catalyst to be used with this gelcoat is Norox CHM50 at 2 – 2.5%.
