CHOPPED STRAND MAT (CSM)
Chopped Strand Mat or CSM is a form of reinforcement used in glass-reinforced plastic. It consists of glass-fibres laid randomly across each other and held together by a powder binder.
WOVEN CLOTH (GC)
Woven cloths are very common for marine and composite construction and repair. The light-weight cloths tend to provide a smooth finish and are excellent for producing a waterproofing layer over wood or other surfaces when combined with resin.
BIAXIAL (BIAX GF)
Biaxial Fabric is composed of fibres stitched together at warp 0 degree and weft 90 degree. Biaxial fabric are available with or without chopped glass strand. Chopped strand mat is not a stock item but can be ordered in on request.
DOUBLE BIAS FABRIC (DB GF)
Double-bias fabric is composed of fibres stitched together at +/- 45 degrees. Chopped strand mat is not a stock item but can be ordered in on request.
TRIAXIAL FABRIC (TRI GF)
Triaxial fabric is composed of fibres stitched together at warp 0 degree and +/- 45 degrees. Not a stock item but can be ordered in on request.
QUADRAXIAL FABRIC (QUAD GF)
Quadraxial fabric is composed of fibres stitched together at warp 0 degree, weft 90 degree and +/- 45 degrees. 850 and 1200g/m² are not stock items but can be ordered in on request.
UNIDIRECTIONAL (UNI GF)
Unidirectional fabric is a plain weave style with 95% of the fibre density in the warp 0 degree. 800g/m² is not a stock item but can be ordered in on request.
