Methacrylates

Methyl Methacrylate Adhesives, or MMAs, are structural adhesives that have been developed to bond metals, plastics, and composites. They are designed with toughness, flexibility, and ease of use.

MMA-AT300

A two-part methacrylate, structural bonding adhesive designed for the structural bonding of various substrates including fibreglass, steel, aluminium and various plastics (not low energy surfaces). Combined at a ratio of 1:1, AT300 has a working time of 3 – 6 minutes and achieves nearly 90% of its ultimate strength in 10 – 15 minutes at room temperature curing. AT300 provides high strength bonds to the above reference surfaces with generally no preparation effort. AT300 bonds very strongly to steel, stainless steel and aluminium metals. AT300 adhesives are NOT UV STABLE, AND WILL YELLOW OVER TIME and must not be used to create imperceptible seams in counter-tops or for seaming counter-tops. This yellowing will not affect bond performance, but will affect bond appearance.

Available in 400 ml cartridge

MMA-AT310

A two-part methacrylate, structural bonding adhesive designed for the structural bonding of various substrates, including fibreglass, steel, aluminium and various plastics (not low energy surfaces). Combined at a ratio of 1:1, AT310 has a working time of 8 – 12 minutes and achieves nearly 90% of its ultimate strength in 18 – 25 minutes at room temperature curing. AT310 provides high strength bonds to the above reference surfaces with generally no preparation effort. AT310 bonds very strongly to steel, stainless steel and aluminium metals. AT310 adhesives are NOT UV STABLE, AND WILL YELLOW OVER TIME and must not be used to create imperceptible seams in counter-tops or for seaming counter-tops. This yellowing will not affect bond performance, but will affect bond appearance.

Available in 500 ml cartridge

MMA-AT330

AT330 is a two-part methacrylate, structural bonding adhesive designed for the structural bonding of various substrates, including fibreglass, steel, aluminium and various plastics (not low energy surfaces). Combined at a ratio of 1:1, AT330 has a working time of 18 – 32 minutes and achieves nearly 90% of its ultimate strength in 45 – 70 minutes at room temperature curing. AT330 provides high strength bonds to the above reference surfaces with generally no preparation effort. AT330 bonds very strongly to steel, stainless steel and aluminium metals. AT330 adhesives are not to be used to create imperceptible seams in counter-tops or for seaming counter-tops.

Available in 400 ml cartridge

MMA-AT425

A two-part methacrylate, structural bonding adhesive designed for the structural bonding of various substrates, including fibreglass, steel, aluminium and various plastics (not low energy surfaces). Combined at a ratio of 10:1, AT425 has a working time of 18 – 28 minutes and achievesnearly 90% of its ultimate strength in 50 – 70 minutes at room temperature curing. AT425 provides high strength bonds to the above reference surfaces with generally no preparation effort. AT425 bonds very strongly to steel, stainless steel and aluminium metals. AT425 adhesives are NOT UV STABLE, AND WILL YELLOW OVER TIME and must not be used to create imperceptible seams in counter-tops or for seaming counter-tops. This yellowing will not affect bond performance, but will affect bond appearance.

Available in 500 ml cartridge

MMA-AT560

A two-part methacrylate, structural bonding adhesive designed for the structural bonding of various substrates, including fibreglass, steel, aluminium and various plastics (not low energy surfaces). Combined at a ratio of 1:1, AT560 has a working time of 50 – 65 minutes and achieves nearly 90% of its ultimate strength in 140 – 180 minutes at room temperature curing. AT560 provides high strength bonds to the above reference surfaces with generally no preparation effort. AT560 bonds very strongly to steel, stainless steel and aluminium metals. AT560 adhesives are NOT UV STABLE, AND WILL YELLOW OVER TIME and must not be used to create imperceptible seams in counter-tops or for seaming counter-tops. This yellowing will not affect bond performance, but will affect bond appearance.

Available as an indent item

AT120 MMA PRIMER

AT120 MMA Primer is a primer and conditioner for nonporous metals to allow better bond strength. Designed for AT-MMA products outside of the 800 series. To use, wipe on and leave for roughly 120 seconds to flash off.

Available in 1 litre

MMA-AT420

AT420 is a two-part methacrylate, flexibilised, structural bonding adhesive designed for the structural bonding of various substrates, including fibreglass, steel, aluminium and various plastics (not low energy surfaces). Combined at a ratio of 10:1, AT420 has a working time of 3 – 7 minutes and achieves nearly 90% of its ultimate strength in 10 – 15 minutes at room temperature curing. AT420 provides high strength and very flexible bonds to the above reference surfaces, with generally no preparation effort. AT420 bonds very strongly to steel, stainless steel, and aluminium metals and will allow a great deal of movement of the substrates due to CTE (Coefficient of Thermal Expansion) differences. AT420 adhesives are not UV stable and will yellow over time.

Available in 400 ml cartridge
